Fashion Models in Salt Lake?
Wednesday, May 06, 2009 11:16 PM
Posted By: Bart
I thought you guys might be interested to hear that my wife has started a model management company called Echo Model Management. It is really funny because now if I happen to see a pretty girl who happens to be 5'9'' or above and has measurements close to 34-24-34 my wife encourages me to get her number. I have done this once or twice and it is always pretty funny. I say something like, "my wife has a model management company and I think she would be interested in representing you.." This is quickly followed by a look of disbelief from the girl and I reassure them that I'm telling the truth. It usually helps in this scenario if I happen to have my 20 month year old boy with me. They quickly realize when they see that cute little guy that I'm not lying--and after I keep explaining and give them one of her cards and reassure them that I'm not some weird guy just trying to get girls' numbers. Pretty funny- anyway, I hope you're all doing well out there- can't wait to play some shows for ya'll.
peace,
Bart
p.s.-save me some awkward moments and all you model type girls can submit a photo to erin@echomodels.com if you want to. Good luck.

Freddy Krueger etc.
Tuesday, October 30, 2007 5:46 PM

One of my favorite Halloween memories is making crude Freddy Krueger blades out of cardboard and tinfoil and taping them to gloves while wearing some cheap fake skin (that is basically flesh colored silly putty) on my face to try to look the part. I had the striped sweater (that I probably stole from my sister's sweater collection) and everything. I remember trying to keep that cheap fake skin on with one hand while holding out my pillow case (always ambitious for lots of candy) with the cardboard-bladed hand and loving every minute of it because I looked SO cool. I don't know what has happened to scary movies lately- I haven't really followed them much, but it doesn't seem like there are characters like Jason or Freddy Krueger anymore. They had something that I miss for some reason. Maybe it was the fact that it was a simpler time then, a pre-9/11 world. Anyway, Happy Halloween everybody, may your pillow cases be full.
